Carmel Mims is an extremely capable, thoughtful person who can be trusted to give extraordinary care to animals in her charge. I have watched dogs of various breeds, ages and sizes (including my own eleven year old Malti-Poo) greet her happily, and obviously return the genuine affection she feels for them. Carmel is a reassuring presence to families as well as to their pets, and I recommend her caregiving expertise without reservation.

We wish to highly recommend Pet Porter Pals service. Carmel Mims provided excellent care of our mother’s cat at her assisted living apartment for several months. Since family wasn’t permitted to visit the facility during the COVID quarantine, Carmel kept us connected with our mother and her cat by facilitating phone calls and sending us photos and text updates regularly. She also went above and beyond, offering to purchase pet supplies when needed. We are very grateful for the professional and caring service provided by Pet Porter Pals.

Pet Porter Pals saved my life and has relieved unnecessary anxiety. My mom is in assisted living and her cat of 12 years wasn’t getting the necessary maintenance a cat needs. I contacted Carmel and within a week we had Shotgun (the cat) on a cleaning/eating routine. During COVID Carmel was a Saint! She stayed in touch with the facility and checked up on Sam but still remained respectful for the restrictions. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my mom’s cat, I only want Carmel!
